Welcome to the Tae Kwon Do Tutor Blog! At this website I write blog posts about everything Tae Kwon Do. These range from interesting facts, to answering questions, to the latest Tae Kwon Do news!
The taekwondo world is a diverse one, filled with everything from professional athletes, to hobbyists, to scholars and even novelists! Here at Taekwondo Tutors, I teach taekwondo both in the traditional taekwondo classroom (called a dojang), and this taekwondo blog. Essentially, it’s a written taekwondo dojang!
At my dojang, students learn a wide range of skills with self-defense, taekwondo forms, and even weapons training (bo staffs are quite popular with my students). I’ve taught students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. If someone is truly interested in learning taekwondo, then nothing will stop them from succeeding!
Here at the Taekwondo Tutors website, I strive to teach people about taekwondo with topics that aren’t typically covered in the traditional dojang. Here I talk about community, philosophy, history, fun facts, and anything in between. Having a passion for taekwondo is key for teaching it, and that is what I try and show in the blog posts I publish on this website.
Taekwondo is so much more than just kicking targets or practicing forms. There is a whole community out there with a long history, and much to teach! In all my years of study, I’ve learned that there is so much information out there, that no one person could possibly keep all of it in their head. It must be written out!
So that is what this blog is about. It’s about teaching the parts of taekwondo that can’t be covered in the classroom. So, if you’re interested in learning taekwondo, then you came to the right place!
Sit back, relax, and enjoy!
